We’re excited to share that we’ve relaunched two of our U.S.-based grant programs: the Tulipán Art & Culture Award and the Tulipán Cultural Connection Award. With some thoughtful updates, these awards provide an even more impactful way for us to support the inspiring individuals and organizations bringing Hungarian culture to life.
These grants provide funding of up to $10,000 per recipient for the Tulipán Cultural Connection Award and up to $15,000 per recipient for the Tulipán Art & Culture Award. Both now follow an annual schedule, giving applicants a clear timeline and plenty of opportunity to complete their applications and articulate their project goals.

TULIPÁN ART & CULTURE AWARD
This award provides financial support to individuals who are enriching the Hungarian American cultural landscape in thoughtful and creative ways.
Whether through visual arts, folk arts, performing arts, literary works, or cultural curation, this award is designed to foster collaboration and deeper public engagement. If your work celebrates Hungarian heritage and invites others into the experience, we want to hear from you.
TULIPÁN CULTURAL CONNECTION AWARD
This award provides financial support to U.S.-based nonprofit organizations eager to celebrate the richness of Hungarian culture.
We encourage applications from organizations deeply rooted in the Hungarian community, as well as those introducing Hungarian artists, stories, and traditions to new audiences. This includes:
- Organizations presenting a Hungarian artist for the first time
- Institutions launching a project that celebrates Hungarian culture
- New partnerships that introduce Hungarian stories, traditions, and creativity to wider audiences
